  1. Past hour
  2. I can help with the .5 bit if you could manage the rest
  3. Used mine for the first time in ages last night. I had forgotten just how great it sounded. Deep, tubey warmth but retaining its clarity. I had thought about selling mine but after last night and i'll be using it again tonight i've decided its a keeper. For a full tube amp built like a tank but compact and relatively light weight this is a great price. GLWTS Dave
  4. Yes, There’s a balance to be had and, delivering enough differing styles and techniques that clearly demonstrate what an instrument is capable of is completely achievable without making it all about oneself, unless of course, that is entirely the intention 😁. That said, you could argue that I have shot myself in the foot by intentionally under playing as it is now expected that videos should be a massive w@nkfest 😂🤣 for likes 👍, thus making me look less of a capable player.

    Multifx help

Get a Quad Cortex. Problem solved. You're welcome.
  6. I would so buy this 😭😭. But I live in Spain....here the market is so weak...you can't find anything 🤦
  7. I know - they are great amps for upright, but the technology is of the age so a tad lardy and not over endowed with power.
  8. Awesome on all counts! GLWTS
  9. Lescot Fanned Frets 5. Gilles Lescot was a Belgian luthier who stopped his activities in early 2023. All woods, but the bubinga used for the fingerboard are locally sourced. I received this bass in a recent trade, but I'm not a fiver nor a fanned frets player. TRADES ARE WELCOME! NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE! Asking price including shipping fully insured with tracking number to your place in these European countries (ask for other countries) : Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (excluding French overseas departments and territories), Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom: €1000 Euros (£875 GBP is an approximation and I will only accept payment in Euros)!!! Shipping to United Kingdom is, of course, possible and included in my asking price, but with an extra customs fee (VAT + other taxes + courier fee), because U.K. is now outside EEC. Here are the specifications : Body: 2 pieces cherry Top: lightly flamed maple including a black tainted wood veneer between top and body Set neck: 7 pieces maple and walnut with a lightly flamed maple tone block and a black tainted wood veneer Fingerboard: bubinga (16" to 24" radius) with white side dots Positions: 25 (zero fret) stainless steel frets (unmarked) Headstock: 3 + 2 lightly flamed maple with a black tainted wood veneer Tuners: original Gotoh GB7 last generation Pickup: original EMG 45DC Controls (all EMG): volume and tone Bridge: original ABM mono rails Strings spacing at bridge: 20 mm (slightly adjustable) Nut: bone (unglued) Strings spacing at nut: 10 mm Scale: from 81 to 88 cm (its a true metric design as it gives from 31.89 to 34.65 inches in imperial) Hardware colour: chrome Truss rod: one, single action, 100% functional Finish: light gloss Country of origin: Belgium Serial number: none Year: 2011 Weight: 4.520 kilos Action : from 1.3 mm under the G string to 2 mm under the B string at 12th position (can even go way lower, but was perfect for me) Will be delivered in a brand new Fame semi-rigid case. Non-smoking environment as usual. The bass has been fully set up professionally and is copper shielded in the electronics compartment (absolutely dead silent instrument). It has received a new battery and a new set of Ernie Ball 2836 Slinky nickel round wound strings (45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 130), which really serve this bass. What you see is what you get ! Look carefully at the photos taken from different angles and lights to see the real condition, which is excellent, the 3 main blemishes being photographed. Here is the link to 34 photos in high resolution: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZUdADPffm1Iyloyk8vc50S8m77KC2-k2?usp=drive_link Due to severe back problems (67% officially disabled because of it) plus left and right shoulders injury (it's really painful to reach the tuners), I'm selling all the basses I'm not using like this one as well as some stuff I don't use. I've also considerably lowered the price for a quick sale. Don't hesitate to ask for more.
  10. This one hurts but it has to be done… I’m selling my Rickenbacker 4003s in walnut. Immaculate condition with Ric hard case and all the bits and pieces. Bought new by me from Hot Rox in Nottingham in early 2019. Available for collection from Nottingham or local delivery/meet within an hour or so from Nottingham. This is part of a major clearout so no trades I’m afraid. Scammers abound, sadly, so I’d prefer not to ship and would rather meet to hand over in person. Please PM to discuss options - if I do agree to ship it’s at the buyer’s expense, UK only and only to established BC members with positive feedback. I’m lucky enough to have two Ricks - this and a 2010 4003 - and this is by far the nicer bass to play! No sticky neck, the finish is flawless, the body edges are comfortable and it’s a nice light weight. It also has my (not) patented thumb rest (which can be removed and the original pick guard screws put back). So why am I selling this one and not the 4003? Sentimental reasons - the 4003 was bought for me by my dear wife and I’ll be buried with it! Thanks for looking please PM with any questions.
  11. Maybe at the time, you should have recruited a Drummer who could keep time. You could have avoided all those wasted years. In hindsight, maybe you should have got him "A Simple Metronome With A Big Flashing Light"
  12. We could each put in a sum of money to buy itand time-share the guitar between us. With my £7.99, I get it for approx 45 seconds on April 16th. Mmmm...actually thats an interesting idea. Not sure I can afford £22.5K. but I could do a chunk of it. rob
  13. Personally I can’t stand clicking through menus on multi-fx. I’m a hands-on-knobs guy. This looks new one from Boss looks cool however: https://www.boss.info/us/products/me-90b/
  14. It’d be good if it stays in the UK. I suspect it will have collectors worldwide scrambling for funds.
  15. If You mean Music Man Bongo - it really looks freaky !!!
  16. No surprise that I'm way behind the curve (as usual). However, that gig looks surreal (and sterile) to me. Audience didn't look too engaged in it either.
  17. Tried the Ashdown thought it was tremendous but too loud. This will just be sitting in the studio for recording. Sounded great tho and looked great.
  18. The drummer controls *everything*. If he can’t, it’s time to get one who can.
  19. Today
  20. apparently the inspiration came to ernie while sitting on the khazi.
