***SOLD PENDING***

Completion date of 09/03/86. Weight is c. 4.2Kg. Strung with Alembic medium scale strings, I can throw in a spare set to tempt you further. Fitted with blue Fretfx, which are quite handy for some of us. They are easily removed but cannot be reused. Comes with lockable soft case.

Looking for trades only now. Collection or meet up much preferred for this one. I would happily trade for a 34" scale Alembic if I can find one at an affordable trade plus cash price.

*I had this in my head as cocobolo but Lee's original sales thread says mahogany so we'll go with that. EDIT: I've checked it out on the Alembic Club website and it's definitely mahogany, info request here Alembic Club - Spoiler Info Request

Here's Clarky bump. Lovely bass which I would buy back if I had the money (I don't so could only offer a trade-plus-cash for my fender 62 reissue p/j, which would not help you clear out)

And to aid the sale so I don't do something silly, here's a standup dude playing one of these through a Glockenklang rig. They sound very good...
lovely looking thing -

anyone who can source this bass rocking out clean? - every Cliff B one I find he's got effects all over it... :)
I played my old black Spoiler at the Punkfest last summer (without effects). Great rock bass. You can J or P type sounds out of it and a nice crunchy tone by mixing the two pickups. If you listen to the bass sound on the Black Album (eg Sandman) you will get a good approximation of what this can sound like.
