I'm selling my Fender MIJ (Made in Japan) Precision bass with FotoFlame finish. I bought this bass a while back and am now selling as need money for driving lessons.

The Serial Number is S010809. Which according to the guitardaterproject.org means it was made between 94-95 in the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan) which apparently is one of the good ones.

I have added a John East P-retro Preamp along with Nordstrand NP4 pickups, and it has Thomastik flatwound strings on it

Because the bass has a FotoFlame finish it has cracks all over it which I have tried to show in the photos below. Also one of the previous owners seems to have attacked the nut adjuster which again I have tried to show in the pictures below as well as scratches and dents it has accumulated.

You'll be getting the charger for the preamp and a hardcase for it as well.

Altogether I have spent £680 on the bass so I am asking £450 for it collected or £475 for it delivered. I hope thats a fair price.

Here is a link to my basschat feedback.

this used to be mine but came with original white pickguard (u still got it?) - i thought the serial number was familiar and just checked on some old photos - i had it pre-East and Nordstrand pups but it was a great player that I gigged a fair bit. Tempted to have it back.

Does the East have a passive option?

Must sound pretty massive?
