For sale, Warwick Streamer STD, December 1999. £275 UK posted, or collect from Worcester Park, Surrey and save yourself £20.

Its a really great bass, lovely sound, very easy to play and a suprisingly good range of sounds from the single passive humbucker. Two controls, volume and tone and you can pull up the volume knob to put the humbucker in series or parallel respectively.

This was my first Warwick and I've been really impressed with it. Only selling because I just bought a Corvette $$.

This is a proper German Warwick, NOT a "rockbass". The previous owner who bought it new, only used it for recording (he upgraded to a Thumb). Since I had it I've not gigged it and taken care of it so it's in excellent condition with only a couple of insignificant dings, these should be visible from the photos.

Specifications:
* 4 string
* Single Passive MEC soapbar pickup (Standard factory pickup)
* Brass frets (24)
* Adjustable nut
* 3 piece ovankol neck
* Wenge fretboard
* Carolena body
* Natural finish
* Chrome Warwick hardware
* Made in Germany (1999 serial number)
* Serial Number L ****** 99 verified by Warwick as a genuine Streamer STD

Looking for £250, UK posted. Sensible offers considered. No gig-bag I'm afraid but it will be well packed for posting. If you can collect from Worcester Park Surrey, I'll knock £20 off the price. £230 for a genuine Warwick - thats a steal !

[I sold mine (a five-string) for £280, I think it was, a few months ago. So you ain't far off.

Good basses, but saleability has been hit by the Rockbass phenomenon, I feel. If this was still regarded as 'entry level Warwick' it would automaticlaly go quicker.

But have a bump on me. Nice example...
