    I'd say if there was crackling when the knobs were touched, there's a more fundamental problem.

    Hi Smanth. Did you manage to get it running on your M1 Mac? Works fine on mine. It was a bit fussy when I was using an old USB and the Apple USB-C to HDMI/USB adaptor. Once I bought a decent USB-C to Micro USB-B it's been rock solid.

    I'm in the same boat. I have the Boss GT-1000 Core and am barely scratching the surface. 90% of the time I'm on a patch with comp and preamp only. The other 10% has some fuzz. I keep thinking I should sell it to someone who'd make better use of its capabilities and replace with discreet pedals, pedalboard, PSU etc. But then, it's going to cost a lot more than I'd get for it even if I just replace with the Boss comp, tuner and Pre.

    Not sure if it's related to the update, but just tried purchasing a subscription. I can ad it to the basket and view the basket, but when I go to review and pay it says basket is empty. Tried on Chrome and Safari.

    I just found about Andy's passing. I saw the Smiths live for the first time almost 40 years ago and they were breathtaking. RIP Andy.

    Very few compared to some - Park practise amp Peaver TKO Trace Elliot BLX Ashdown EB180 Barefaced Compact 15" Hartke LH500 Ashdown ABM 600 Evi IV Fender Rumble 40LT I'm thinking of moving on everything I've got and going back to a combo like the Ashdown Studio 12 for jamming, rehearsals and small gigs.

    Nothing recent. Line 6 Pod XT is about it. I have had a play on the GT-100 and had a quick go on the Pod Go last weekend. For my old originals band a tuner, comp and Rat type distortion did me nicely on bass.

    i joined the GT-1000 Core club yesterday. I've got to say this is the best sounding floor based digital multi I've heard, at least once I'd put it in bass mode. The ability create 3 virtual loops as well as the preset parallel loops is fantastic. I too had trouble connecting it to my Mac. Turned out after an hour of reinstalling drivers etc it was a dodgy USB lead. D'oh!

    Thanks to all those who offered advice. I found a Boss GT 1000 Core in a local music shop last weekend. Used but only a few weeks old and in mint condition. Bargain price for cash, which I didn't have on me last weekend. I didn't want to post about until it was in my possession, which it has been for the last hour. Really happy chap right now. Looking forward to delving into it now.
