Don't get me wrong I've wanted a Mustang for years but that's a huge difference in price for a few changes. I really hope I'm wrong and there's more to it than that
Different body wood too, I doubt it will have the same neck as the Bronco either but time will tell.
Bear in mind a Mustang is a budget bass so won't have fantastic hardware, pickup etc. although they've always played pretty well in my experience. The Gibson basses have always been a bit of a law unto themselves so I would definitely try before I buy, but if you like them (I do) there's nothing else that looks, feels or sounds quite the same.
I wouldn't have said the Mustang was a particularly budget instrument, the current Japanese models retail for around £650 now and come with SD pickups as far as I'm aware?
 3. I've got one of those little Action Jr basses too, it's surprisingly decent for the money! I've only managed to get the action down to 3mm thus far, but I'm working on it. I'd agree that the nut is cut a little high too but I haven't dared mess with that yet. The neck is a bit too slim for my tastes, but it actually has a fairly usable and even sound, balances well and weighs in at less than 7lbs!

 5.
There's also a short scale Jaguar bass coming too...
Really?!
 6. I'd be quite interested to know the weight of this!
 7. Blimey, these look lovely! I see they have lightweight bodies in the specs, what sort of weights are they clocking in at?
 8.
Hi there, I'm new to Basschat (as a 'poster'). I've been reading the boards for quite a while, but your bass has made me join! I am a big fan of Paul Rose's work, and would like this bass. I don't really know the 'protocol', though. If it's still for sale, could you email me? Thanks.
Good Morning, There a few interested parties at present but nothing 100% confirmed as yet, I've sent you a message...
 9.
Really cool bass there, I have back problems, and this could look great sitting next to my mustang...what's the neck like?
Ongoing back problems are the main reason this bass came into existence really, I asked for the neck to be in the same ballpark as a precision! Whilst it is light, it definitely feels like a solid bit of kit! Cheers, Phil
 10. Good question! It's a 30" scale but the through body stringing gives it that little extra tension.
