1. Oh, the brown-series GE-7B. I tried a friend's a year or so ago and while I liked it for the mid frequencies, I kinda felt I was missing some control on the lows. YMMV, of course. I think the brown one with a shelving low control would have been ideal for me (to the drawing board! ).
2. Have you got any links to the GE-B7? Never heard of it.
3. They look quite good, did you use Inkscape?
4. Have you contacted customer service?
5. I think this is good for just about everyone. More designs from Douglas, relay switching for Darkglass pedals, and a decrease in pricing for the US people.
6. A tube Bassman emulator would be an instant buy from me.
7.
There's a blend circuit online that does exactly what you're after: http://moosapotamus....paralooper.html
Yup, I can confirm that it works.
8.
personally, i got rid of the m-80 as i didn't like that 'bees-in-a tin' quality. been looking for the perfect one for a while, and thinking of getting a rat-tail. but, having seen the demo of the FEA dual-band-distortion (currently out of stock), i'm holding out for that.
Thanks for selling me your M80! I personally use it to add a bit of grit to my main tone (gain minimum, blend at 11 o' clock). I wouldn't really use it as a distortion, but it might just work.
9. I think the way to put a DI into it is the same as for any other pedal.
10.

Meh. Just kidding, looks great!
11. Chi-wah-wah! Did you buy it direct? I can´t find the bass version at their dealers. Edit: Oh, you´re in the USA. OK.
12. So you ARE Excane... Great demos, they have tripled my GAS in about half an hour!
13.
This is probably one of the strangest ideas i've had, but does anyone think its possible to take the guts of a VT Deluxe, and put it into a rackmount chassis with a 4 button footwitch? I'm planning on moving to a rack system later this year, along with getting a VT Deluxe but i don't want cables trailing across the stage (Main reason i'm going wireless) because they get annoying. Its probably a stupid idea, but i'll bounce it off you guys anyway, you're more knowledgeable than me. Liam
Maybe I misunderstood, but wouldn´t the 4-button footswitch be trailing cables anyway? In any case, you should be able to unless the pots and jacks are directly soldered to the board. IMO, it´s too pricey to risk f****** up on, but that´s just me. Maybe you could get a pro to do it for you?
14. http://www.musikding.de/product_info.php/i...364_2N5088.html 2n5088 for 0.12€ each. Shipping would be 3€ (5 € tops), so maybe it´s not as good as your eBay source. It´s a good site though.
15. Would you have any use for a boost or a fuzz if you had them? If so, I´d recommend making one of those first. Of course, if the DOD250 sounds like tonal nirvana to you, by all means go for it. I admire your testicular fortitude.
