1. I've seen the courier thread and it seems like APC overnight are the most reliable However I dont know how much It'll cost and to save me some hassle of calling them up and telling them measurements that I dont know and weight that I also dont know, could someone tell me. a) how much It'll cost and/or b)how much a fender jazz weighs? OR someone who has successfully sold a fender jazz and it arrived unscathed and didn't cost the earth, which courier company did you use? Many Thanks

3. Hi there, My trade offering, with cash as well, if you did want the the bass is a Mark Hoppus Precision Bass. Although I realise this may be concidered as a joke lol. How much would you want, in the event that you would sell it fof cash? Thanks
4. I played one of these today and loves it, nice narrow neck and nice tone and feel to it, worth the £675, I think so but would like your opinions incase there is something I have overlooked. The one in the shop has marks on the head-stock where the wall fixing where the guitar was hanging on has had some chemical reaction with the laquer that the headstock is covered in, and has smeared it right down to the wood, on both sides. How much discount should I push for due to this? Its about 2cmx0.5 on each side Thanks
5. Christ, how can slap bass not be popular now, that sh*t gives me a raging horn.
6. Bump, anyone with some new advise? thanks in advance Those Dexters look nice, any way of getting one in the u.k? thsoe links too forever to load, with a ton of them not even loading lol
7. Thanks man, I like the Jazz Bass idea

9. Hey all, I'm new to the board. After seeing some you-tube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8b5XYgzGQB4 This bass is actually a Jazz bass copy, but It sounds awesome to me. I've decided to start playing bass again, for this I could do with some advice the decision about the bass I want can be helped by this info: I want to play stuff like: Slap-bass Red Hot Chili Peppers Marcus Miller Jamiroquai Pretty much anything funky, from what I've gathered it seems like a Jazz Bass, or a MusicMan will do the trick here? I really like the 'springy' sound and not the bland, deep tone, if that helps and you know what I mean. So, if anyone can suggest a bass for me, based on the music I want to play, that would be much appreciated Secondly, I want to start learning how to play the slap-bass licks I hear in songs, this is difficult because I can't seem to get anywhere in finding mp3 files, or the albums available to buy, with the music I hear that I want to play. Evidently this makes it near-on impossible to learn the songs. Where do I start? I've tried torrents and such but nothing brings any joy. Can you guys recommend some really funky bass albums, like for example BSSM. I've also been told to check out Victor Wooten and Stanley Clarke, but again, I don't know which of their albums to get, or if their music would be up my street, it's gotta be funky for me. I think the bottom line here is, could you guys tell me some funky bass albums which I could get hold of and try to learn? I know this is a lot to work on, but any advise about any of the questions here would be much appreciated
10. Links have died and I can't find what I'm looking for by clicking around, any chance of another working link please? Many Thanks
