Total Watts

  1. well im fully confident they did it right, and last night i got curious and switched the MM p/u to parallel and the sound still had that lack of midrange umph. So now i think its just a question of what bart MM is good enough for me.
  2. Well im hoping i encounter someone that has had this similiar situation. I bought a bartolini 3band EQ and two volume knob preamp to replace a shotty one in my schecter bass. The bass has a MM duncan design bridge humbucker, and a jazz neck p/u. So heres the problem...I got the preamp installed in series, and took back to shop to make sure it was in phase because the bridge p/u sounds like the mids are scooped out which is not my desire. the neck p/u sounds full and good. Also the old setup had a on/on toggle that switched the bridge p/u tone from rock to funk, but not anymore. Also the guy who worked on it said id be better off with a bartolini replacement, but im not sure if he's just trying to sell me something that might not change the FUNK! ANY SUGGESTION?!!
