  1. Bought a Nikon lens off Pete. Great guy to deal with, very helpful which made a smooth transaction. A great asset to the BC community. Thanks again Pete.
  2. Hi Pete,

I am interested in the Sigma lens and having done some research it seems that it should be compatible with my D5500. Your listing mentions that you are located in west Oxon so just wondered where abouts you are? I'm in Alcester nr Stratford and we are driving down to Woodstock on Thursday so would there be an opportunity to meet up and take a look at the lens please?

    Kind regards,

    Colin

  3. Dane bought a P body from me. Top guy to deal with and had a very smooth transaction. Good luck with building up the bass and hope you get a lot of satisfaction out of it.
  4. Bought a DI box off Carl. Smooth transaction and very pleased with the purchase. A credit to the BC community. Thanks again Carl.
  5. Bought a gig bag off Chris. He couldn't have been more understanding and helpful in sorting out the transaction for me. The bag arrived super quick and exceptionally well packaged. A genuine asset to the BC community. Thanks again Chris.
  6. Maybe. I'm no expert in these things so I bow to your superior knowledge.
  7. No, sorry. Possibly basswood? All I can say is that it is quite lightweight.
  8. P Bass body which I purchased a while back with the intention of making up a bitsa. The previous owner had widened the neck pocket to fit a 5 string neck and I was going to reconstruct it to take a 4 string neck. With too many projects on the go at the moment it need to go to someone who can make use of it. The body is nice and light weighing in at a smidge over 3lbs. Can post at cost.
  9. Flightcase - small trunk External Dimensions 55mm w x 35d x 38h Internal 51.5 x 32 x 26 + 8h All catches, handles and hinges work as they should. Been used for storing and transporting cables Located in south Warwickshire B49
  10. Bought a Jazz neck from Joe and everything related to the sale went well. Great guy to deal with. Highly recommendable and a credit to the BC community. Thanks Joe.

  12. I'm just about to fit one of these string adapters to my headless bass so that I can use Ernie Ball Cobalts on it. Does anyone have any tips or advice before I go ahead with this? My main concern is if it is ok to trim the top of the string flush with the adapter so there are no sharp string ends exposed and that the flats don't start to unwind. Thanks in advance.
  13. Bought some strings off Cameron. Seamless transaction and very pleased with the purchase. A credit to the BC community. Thanks Cameron.

  15. Several years ago when playing in a small function band we used a Yamaha MDF2 with an MU50 sequencer for keys fill. That worked well for us and was very reliable. Looking on the internet at second hand units they seem to be holding their value so a more cost effective option for you could be to get a cheap laptop, load it up with an older version of Cakewalk or other similar midi software and get a USB to midi interface, something like an Erirol UM-1SX which will then connect to your Alesis module.
