Have a look at Bill's site www.billlawrence.com ( 3 letter l's in there!) where he goes in depth about his pickups. Bill designed the pickups for Fender that I have on my Roscoe Beck bass's. These that I have for sale are noiseless, have multiple magnets in them and the camber of the fingerboard/strings is followed by the centre magnets curving up towards the centre strings.
