Celestion Sidewinder Woofers.

I've been asking about these before, but since I haven't found any real answers yet I'll try again... There has to be someone here who knows something about these woofers. I'm interested in the bass versions which were used in Marshall IBS cabinets. I did some searches and found out that there is four versions in 12" / 15" sizes.

12"
S12-150 PaperEdge (cast and pressed chassis versions) LEAD
S12-150 ClothEdge (cast and pressed chassis versions) BASS

15"
S15-250 ClothEdge (cast and pressed chassis versions)
S15-250 HighSensitivity ClothEdge (cast and pressed chassis versions)

And of course there is also 8 and 16 ohms versions, so that makes total of 16 different woofers. What a mess...
I found the following codes:
S12-150 T3771 (8 ohms, 12")
S12-150 T3772 (16 ohms, 12")
S12-150 T3865 (8 ohms, 12")

S15-250 T3925 (8 ohms, 15")
S15-250 T3840 (16 ohms, 15")

That's all I know so far... So I need help to identify these woofers. If anyone could match even one of these, I would really appreciate it. I think... I THINK but I'm not sure that the 12" T3771 and T3772 are the LEAD versions and T3865 is the BASS one... But with cast or pressed chassis... I don't know. Only thing I know for sure is that the 15" ones are both BASS versions since there is no 15" LEAD available.

I got some of the codes from Celestion.
I still don't know about the 15" codes but here's all the 12" codes I got, in case someone needs these:

BASS (only two models)
T3865, 12" / 8 ohm / 150w / sensitivity 98 dB / cast chassis / cloth edge
T3866, 12" / 16 ohm / 150w / sensitivity 98 dB (not 100% sure about this) / cast chassis / cloth edge
[b]edit. The sensitivity might actually be 101 dB in both cases (T3865 and T3866)... I'm not sure about this anymore.[/b]

And the LEAD versions:

T3771, 12" / 8 ohm / 150w / cast chassis / paper edge
T3772, 12" / 16 ohm / 150w / cast chassis / paper edge
T4361, 12" / 8 ohm / 150w / pressed steel chassis / paper edge
T4362, 12" / 16 ohm / 150w / pressed steel chassis / paper edge

I think that the sensitivity of these LEAD speakers is 101 dB.

I'm not sure about his neither but I think that there is only 4 different versions of the 15" Sidewinder... "normal" 8 ohm and 16 ohm and High Sensitivity 8 ohm and 16 ohm. All with cloth edge and cast chassis.

I've got an IBS 4 x 10 cab. Its surprisingly good, took me ages to find out what it was, never seen a Marshall bass cab like it. Would love another one, or the 2x15 or 4x12 to go with it. Any ideas? Do you have any of this gear?

Late reply... Sorry about that. I actually have IBS 2x15" and 4x12". 2x15" is with original Sidewinders and the 4x12" has two non-original sidewinders and two Eminence Tonkers. These cabs sounds like Marshall cabs... Not the deepes or richest bass tone, but a great tone for distorted rock etc. The 4x12" has good cleans too if the amp and the settings are "suitable" for the cab. I've been using them with Orange AD bass head, 70's DR201 and 70's JMP 1986 bass head. With more modern heads like JCM 800 bass... Well not my cup of tea.
