Sandberg basses...?

Hey

I found a Sandberg Basic in my local guitar shop and was wondering how good they are as I know nothing about them...?

I've really been craving the musicman tone without the price of a stingray and I played on the Sandberg yesterday and I have to say it was very nice indeed! It's either this or I've looked into getting a G&L bass although I don't know how much they are or where to get them from!

Any other ideas welcome on decent musicman-like basses!

Cheers,

Will

Not everybody likes Sandberg's but I think mine's a beautifully crafted instrument. And I'm no endorsee.

Apologies for the crap picture but right now I can't be bothered to switch on the macro and take an arty one.

Wow that Sandberg jazz is actually a bit sexy!
On page 2 of this part of the forum, there's a thread titled "Sandberg".

Quite a few comments there, all of them favourable
