Keeping it official, though as above, I'm lift dependent.

01. Silverfoxnik: Roscoe Beck V, BC Rich Eagle, Yamaha TRB5 with Norstrand p/ups and Auderre pre, Hughes & Kettner Bassbass 600 head & SWR Triad.. plus old Peavey Head and 1x15 for the Jamming Room (unless anyone has something else we can use that's better?)
02. EssentialTension: Fender Precision 62, Fender TF Fretless P, Lakland Decade, Mesa Walkabout 12.
03. Waynepunkdude : Sunburst Musicman Sterling H and Ampeg SVT 2pro G&K Neo412
04. Clarky: Ampeg Baby Bass, Acoustic Image/Euphonic Audio rig
05. Truckstop: MIM Fender Jazz V, pimped Kay 2B; Gem/Ampeg rig; some effects
06. Urb - either Sei Jazz or Singlecut - and maybe some pedals - possible Genz Shuttle 9
07. dc2009 - Warwick CS Corvette $$ 5, Epi TB Vs (Reverse and non-reverse), my Dean if anyone actually wants a go, Trace Head, Marshall cab (heavy and big), various pedals.

Is there policy on selling things at this event? Not being funny but I think I might be looking to move on my Dean and a bunch of pedals, if I new in advance there were interested parties then a bass bash would be the perfect place a) for them to try it out, and :) to get opinion of others, and c) to do a deal in person. Could be good for others too, have a little BC live marketplace.

EDIT, I'll also bring along my wireless, I feel everyone should get to experience playing without the constrains of leads!

Would anyone be interested in doing a set-up master class like last time, only later in the day 'coz the last one was too early for me :)

And re. the slap ban. Having had a most beneficial and instructive lesson in slap from Urb at the last bash, I may form a resistance movement. FREE THE SLAP :)

Nigel Clutterbuck is banned from the event and anyone using the edge of their thumb to make a loud percussive noise on a bass guitar will either have to pay vast sums of money into a charity jam jar or face being rolled in marmite and being left out in the sun to dry

I can always show you guys some slap stuff that actually is melodic and not just endless triplets - in fact this year I might just punt for an 'extra curricular picking techniques" masterclass - that way we can look at all the picking stuff that you can do - and look also at two finger picking a well...! Let me know what you think

I shall attend, I will bring my Jeff berlin combo and what I think is a Mark 1 Barefaced Compact Cab.

I would like to try this against a new one so I can hear the difference and see how they fit together, if that is OK with you Alex ;-)

Mike
