Danbass7 Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 (edited) Any ideas on ones that are easier to play than the average 6er ? , I need a narrow, and slim neck too...and short scale if its possible (not a huge issue though) [i]I have a wanted post going too if anyone is selling one around £250-£300 (and abviously less ) that matches the description above[/i] What sorta stuff should I look for, I have been advised a Peavey Grind or Cirrus 6er so far ? I play mainly pick bass by the way if that counts out any strange bridge designs. I have been searching for a few weeks now, but once again I thought I would ask around here for some proper advice Cheers ! I was very impressed by the Peavey Grind 6 I tried a couple of years ago - pick one that sounds good acoustically and then upgrade the pickups when funds allow. Dood Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 As soon as my Shuker is built I will have a Tobias Pro 6 with EMGs up for sale. Hopefully wont be too long to wait now. They have a nice slim string spacing, at 16mm. Very easy to play. It's defintely in your price range too. I'll keep you posted and am happy to give you more details.
