Anyone else still not getting any emails since the redesign? I've tried changing many things in my settings but still can't get emails like I used to. I've got all the stuff set to send emails for replies but they just don't come.

Good evening, VGS...

No problems here, not that I get that much mail, but the site remake has not affected anything; I have not done any 'tweaking' or whatever, the transition was 'seamless'.
Sorry if this doesn't help much; PM admin, perhaps..?

Hi Dad, from the last thread it seems to be working for most people, I was wondering if I was the last one :) If I am I can start working on the conspiracy theory needed to explain it.

I've not received any emails since the site revision. Tried all the settings but nothing. I was wondering if the mail server doesn't like my domain name. Some of them are funny that way.

I had an email this weekend but no notification email which was unusual. I'd not logged in since Friday so had no idea until I logged in today and saw the red triangle. Just thought I'd raise it

I guess it's up to the software and I'm just crossing my fingers for a patch to fix the error soon...

Tried a different email and got my first notification though it did contain this spam flag.


Sender email is commonly abused enduser mail provider (basschat.admin[at]googlemail.com)

It's confirmed to be fixed in the new update which is out now, so I'll have to see about getting it installed ASAP...

Yup, that too. Sorry it's taken so long but there wasn't anything we could do until they fixed it their end.

The email issue is Google seeing a Googlemail return address on basschat notifications that aren't sent from a Googlemail account. Its not a big deal.

Pedals: Akai SB1 Deep Impact, Akai UB-1 Unibass, EBS Microbass II, Eventide Pitchfactor, Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 Kontrol
Rigs: Genz Benz, Burman, Trace Elliot, EBS plus 4u rack with TL Audio, Lexicon and Peavey stuff
Guitar: Chandler Strat, Klein copy, Lexicon and Burman

Googlemail is the one that goes through, it's my other email that doesn't.

I seem to be getting emails to the new topics I've subscribed to, but I'm no longer getting email alerts for the topics that were there before the changeover. On some of the old threads I've unsubscribed and then subscribed, to no avail.

I have also changed the email address (although same domain) to see if it made a difference. It didn't.
Warwick = two Corvette $$s
Fender = USA Jazz Deluxe, Jaguar, Mike Dirnt Precision, Aerodyne Jazz, custom Jazz and Precision and a Kingman
Others = Variax bass, Washburn XB-400 and Aria semi-acoustic.

Ped's getting stressed out by this so I'm going to step in and give him a break.

There's a bug in the upgrade that relates directly to email notifications that we weren't aware of when we decided to go with it. The bug appears to be still present after we've applied the fix. So far Invision haven't been much help on the forums when approached for a solution.

Much of this is just out of our hands. I've asked Ben to respond directly so you at least get some accurate information as soon as we do.
