I love my Roscoe Beck IV dearly, so I thought I'd treat it to a little surprise.. a Tort pickguard, custom-made by BC's own Howard the Bass Doc.

What a job he's done! The tort is lovely and subtle.. not far from my 70s Ps & Js. Although the RB shape is a bugger to recreate with so many switches and sliders, he turned it around in no time at all for a very reasonable price.

And, if I say so myself, it looks quite awesome... :gas:

If you need a new PG, Howard's your man!

That's also a Howard effort. It was a boring old Yamaha baby grand until he got hold of it....

Slightly concerned that you keep it in the kid's playroom ...

When I read the thread title I thought you have finally seen the light and got Howard to spray the bass black!! ;)

We can but hope!

That Howard is a clever chap though, looks proper :)
