Overdrive distortion( rod-10) Digital reverb( Rrv-10) Digital chorus ensemble ( rce-10) Pitch shifter delay (rps-10) Power supply (rpw-7) 2 delays ? Mmm.. Apparently, the power supply should be able to power them all?? Then I've got to work out what order to put them in. ( or have I?)! [/quote] You've definitely not got too many, you still need the parametric EQ and the Graphic. Then you can collect the Pro series too. You'll need both the SE-50 and SE-70. [/quote] Finally hunted down some screws to put it all together . I still have 3 units that too many.The chorus, overdrive and pitch shifter/delay which will have to be put elsewhere . Had a play for about an hour or so today and love the phaser,reverb,compressor. The flanger is ok,and the jury's out on the digital delay. More time needed to experiment .. The front-end (overdrive/distortion/fuzz, etc) is analogue and the modulation and delays are outstanding. I ended up with two of them. The SE50 is nice, but the '70 is definitely superior. [/quote] The SE-70 is a great unit. The Drives, Modulations and Synth are all really good. Boss haven't offered such a comprehensive Bass Synth since. The VF-1 also has some nice features, and some effects you don't see anywhere else. The Drives are horrible digital things, but the rest is good. Whilst were talking multis and stepping away from 1/2 racks, I've now tried almost all the Boss multi effects produced and I'm of the option that the ME-8B was probably my favourite. What I remember about my purchase £350 new when released), is that the manual took me ages to understand . I never purchased the volume pedal or foot switch until many years later, so never got as much usage or enjoyment as I do now . So, I have the rack series , and that. Please don't tell me about the s e series.
