Hallo daar, Marco.

Bert hier. 55 jaren van tijdperk en 1 jaar van zijnde een bassist in dit leven. ;)
(Alleen maar flauwekul hoor; ik ben gewoon Nederlander)

To continue in English:
Welcome to BC! Great list of basses too. And what a fantastic choice of country!
I hope you'll enjoy the site, and will share some wisdom and fun with us.

best,
bert

Yeah haha I spotted a nice broadneck dolphin for sale on this forum so decided to have a little chat with the owner.
I ended up advising him to hold on to that grande instrument...

Either way this seems like a nice place to hang. TB is overcrowded so much I can't keep up with the threads there and well let's face it there is more bass stuff besides Warwick. ;)

Time for a little update... I got back two of my old favorites over the past months; a ric 4003 and mm sig fender jazz.
For some stuff the growly goodness of my Dolphins is just too much and for oldskool rock tone nothing beats a ric.

I am almost complete now, with a custom built fretless Jazz is on its way that has Dolphin pickup configuration.
The jazz will consist of a swamp ash body with maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Pickups are J+TJ by Delano.

More on this project coming soon.

Update.

The fretless still hasn't happened yet due to err well... Stuff.
Ric has been getting the extra shielding which destroyed any humming going on.
Warwick Dolphin 5 is at the doctors getting a custom made truss rod.

Oh and I did get some extra basses in the shape of a new Nate Mendel sig Fender P and a 1998 EBMM Sterling bass. It kills.

Here's some pics

Collection has been steadily growing, still no fretless though...
Added a rather cool guitar as well, 1961 Gibson SG special with Lollar P90's on. Yum!

Bass wise lately been exclusively playing the 5stringer so added a backup for that too... Warwick rules!
