My highlights were thanks to Pete and his extensive kit.... Had my first go at a double bass (and played a G Major scale, not very rock and roll I know ), and my first go at a 6 string and have decided that my hands certainly aren't suited to one! And I completely fell in love with his 1980s hand made Ibanez.... My brother-in-law got stuck travelling (delays at airport or something) because of the snow so super aunt had to step up for baby sitting duties. Believe me, bass bash was a much better option. Come on guys time for another with new members on Basschat ; I've got 3 new basses for you to try...a Warwick Pro Star Bass...semi acoustic , a Fender Cabronita P and a 60s Classic Jazz. Plus Gary is going to buy my 5 string off me :-D ...or just meet up for a coffee in Starbucks or something and talk bass :-) How about a trip to the Bass Show in March. Next year I see that the travelodge is about £60 at the moment and although march train tickets haven't been released yet the February tickets are about £75 return for me.
