VH don't sound the same without MA, but he sounds so good with Chickenfoot and was treated so badly by EVH I'd be surprised if he went back.

I heard that he found out he wasn't getting paid the same as the others, doubt he'd want to go back after that and being ditched without being told first.

And yes, I'd like to see him back, more for his backing vocals than his bass playing.

I much prefer Chickenfoot to VH.

I'd prefer him to stay where he was, but I suspect it's about money and time: if he has enough of one and not enough of the other he'll play for them again.

+1 for all the stuff about his work with Chickenfoot, some good solid playing and a great tone, especially on the Chickenfoot III... can't see him replacing Wolfgang anytime soon.

I don't think it will happen, Sammy & Michael are best mates. DLR's a better performer, but Sammy's a better singer, so Mike can't lose either way I guess...
