I've noted in a For Sale thread that people were discussing their Chapman Sticks.

Disclaimer: I'm not going to be buying a Chapman Stick, I'm just curious.

Any comments on what these instruments are like to play? Any recordings/Youtube videos by forumites?

I've tried playing one and it was a dismal failure. The problem I have is that I'm used to having both hands working together, eg I fret this note with the left and pluck that string with the right. Happens on most of the instruments I play. A stick requires dissociation of hands (like piano which I also struggle with) and so I rapidly concluded that much as I like the concept it was not for me.
