Good morning all,

Well a new year is here. Thanks to everyone who participated in the composition last year (voting will be up for the epically challenging last month video soon).

Lowdown won the final "normal" challenge and has picked the following picture to kick us off into a new year. Personaly I'm thinking some pretty serious metal will fit this piccy nicely but I look forward to seeing what you all come up with :)

I used to live near Braintree.... delightful place :blink:

I'm not sure this is Braintree though, the landscape looks about right but the gentleman sat in the middle would be wearing some sort of tracksuit and be accompanied by an angry dog...

Stunning photo. It's already sparking a bunch of ideas.

I'm certainly up for the BC challenge again this year! Might struggle with September's due to work and other commitments - notably a new track that I'm working on with Mike (urb), which I need to give a good chunk of time to.

But... I'll definitely be doing [i]something[/i] this month.

My September offering. I took a moment's look at the image and solo cello came into my head. I put this together quite quickly using Arabic sounding scales but it really does it for me in terms of it relating to the image. More so than almost anything else I have done before. Simple but effective.
