It was a right good crack. The Bones and I had had a long day, so had to bail before the end though :( . The band were sounding great and Jacks bass was stand-out superb. He had a real Mowton/Stax sound going on and the Matamp/69'er/Lull combo shined through.

I kept saying to Bones 'Cor, Jacks bass sounds really good'

The band really seemed to enjoy themselves and the the punters were up and dancing.

Come, friendly Dogs, and reign on Slough!

Nice one Sean ... praise indeed, and thanks for coming along. As I mentioned the sound on stage was wildly different from what you were hearing near the bar. I'm glad the bass sounded good because my voice was completely shot to hell. I shouldn't have inflicted it on the audience.

ooh which venues in Slough do you play?

We tried to break into the Rising Sun but we were never rocky enough, and only have a couple of tattoos between us!

We've played the Freak Jam when it was (briefly) at the Olde Swan in Burnham, and we've now landed a gig there (a 70s night - yay!). We'd like to build on that.

Last night was our first gig at the Red Cow, and again we hope to get repeat bookings.

Aye, 'twas a gyrating-tottytastic night alright.

Although someone had to tell me afterwards what "twerking" is ...

And the evening started with the Manager saying "But you can't bring a drumkit in here!".

Oh yes, and we received not one but two requests for Sweet Home Alabama, both from ladies who weren't even born when the plane went down.
