Built to my specs and handed to me by Alan on 07.06.2010, this bass has a 5 piece body with Macassar Ebony top and Wenge back and core. Sycamore accent veneers. Neck is a 7 piece Flame Sycamore and Macassar Ebony with an acrylic impregnated Flame Sycamore fingerboard with Macassar Ebony binding. ACG EQ01 Filter based 18 volt pre amp, ACG FB humbuckers and John East low battery indicator. Series/Single/Parallel switches for each pickup. Hipshot A type Bridge and Ultralight tuners & Marvel straplocks. Includes Hiscox hard case. 35" scale, 17mm string spacing (it is adjustable), amazing asymmetric neck profile, with a 16" radius fingerboard. The bass is heavy, but I've found the Neotech strap I use relieves most of the weight - it balances extremely well though and I've never found the weight to be a problem. I'll include the strap (worth £35). Currently strung with Elixir 40-125 strings, but I'll include a new set of Dunlop strings as well.
