Purchased in 2002 from Caswell's in Bristol, I haven't used this bow for a while as I switched to German pattern bow.

It is labelled as 'O. Spengler', and, according to the receipt (which I still have), it was made in Germany.

It has an octagonal pernambuco stick, with an ebony frog. There are mother of pearl inlays, and the metal parts appear to be silver (or silver plated).

Weight is 125g. Overall length 68.5cm, length of hair 52cm. I had it re-haired with coarse black hair, but changed to German pattern not long after, so the hair is quite fresh.

It feels nicely balanced to me, although I realise bows can be quite a personal thing.

I'm in Trowbridge, Wiltshire (near Bath/Bristol).
