Can anyone recommend a decent set of 3x3 guitar tuning keys? I've got an Epiphone SG and the kidney bean Grovers on it are garbage. Ideally I'd like a set of 'tulip' style tuners, and I've been looking at Schaller 520 ST6Ks and the Kluson M33VNs, but I'd be happy to look at other types just as long as they keep my guitar in tune!

If you can find them in the style you like I'd go for Gotoh

Allparts had a range of tuners at decent prices, including plastic tulip types, last time I looked.
My feedback

Light travels faster than sound: that's why some people appear bright until they speak.

Cheers for the recommendations guys, I went for the Schallers in the end, there were a lot of good reviews online. I'll not get them til Christmas though, so I'll just have to deal with these crappy Grovers for the next month!

Well, Santa came and brought my Schallers, so I spent yesterday morning drilling my headstock and fitting the new tuners. They look brilliant and they're rock solid, fired on a new set of 11s and spent all day yesterday bending the sh*t out of them, and it's still in tune, unbelievably happy with them, and pretty pleased with my fitting skills, a lot easier than I thought.

I have several 30yr old + guitars with Schallers and all seem to work as new, the chrome work is perfect too.
