So here's the outcome: https://soundcloud.com/gevaudandoom/message-for-the-damned

My chain was: feline thunderbird>Cog Grand Tarkin> Ashdown ABM500> Barefaced big twin 2. The Cog is on all the time, except for the first 8 bars. Gives you an idea in a produced mix. Really, really happy with it :)

I've also ordered my Custom COG! It's a 3 channel mixer (like an LS2 with an extra channel and EQ/Phase switch options, I'll post on the when it arrives!

I gone and done a review on the Knightfall Distortion to get people introduced to COG effects, I've tried to include as many different tone options as possible! I'll be doing more of these reviews for Tom in the future; Check it out! (it's my first pedal review, so constructive feedback welcome)

I'm considering a Knightfall. Has anyone here got one? And what do you think of it?

I recently recieved mine and did a review for Tom of COG Effects, I think it will answer your question regarding the Knightfall ;-)

I've just confirmed my order of a shiny new Knightfall 66 with Tom. Damn you all for helping me spend more money, this forum is costing me a fortune. But my board has never sounded better! COG lead times are 8-10 weeks at the mo so I'll have to be patient.........

I'm waiting for my big sound project which was born from a long discussion with Tom. He took as much time as was needed and explored loads of options. The pedal Ive got coming should be pretty nuclear as its a combo of distortion, overdrive and interactive sub octaver via foot controller ( wah )

Im also buying an Envelope Filter he had built for himself.

Its taking time but hes a busy man and wants to get it right. It wasnt a low cost project but for the design work, build time and testing etc it could have been double the price Tom charged me.

I think Cog effects will be affecting more and more bassists soundscape for many years. A good man!
