Ill try and borrow some scales to weigh it.

The neck feels great, it must be something in Alan's design as I'm not equipped with long arms or oversize hands and I had no problems adapting to the scale and I'd only used 34" 4 stringers before. Seems I have developed a preference for a flatter board so the zero radius to me feels very good.

I've said it, I'll say it again: ACGs are awesome! Pity I only have my W&T Zoid and Ibanez Musician to trade... No Warwicks *sigh*

Aww don't get me started on Zoids, I had terrible GAS for one last year!! Came close to getting rid of my dolphin for one. Love the zoid shape.

Most ACG basses are 33", since this is a 35" bass, is there any neckdive?
[/quote]

I'm not sure that 'most' of Alan's basses are 33" scale. A number certainly are I agree.

Neckdive in an ACG is either rare or I'd guess non existent :) Alan takes great care to ensure that's the case.

Thanks for the interest folks.
Please pm any offers etc thanks

I let this drop for a while, no hardship as I'm
Loving using it. I've never come across such a versatile bass, and I've owned a wal for 20 odd years.

Not been able to do a direct comparison as I sold my Wal a couple of years ago but I'd have to agree. ACG is certainly lighter and an easier to play neck profile.

I'm surprised this hasn't sold many times over...offer of a trade for my Shuker is still there..

Thanks for the Shuker offer, but its not what im really looking for.

People seem put off by the electrics on this being complicated when it really isn't. It takes a while to get used to but it's not rocket science.

The switches are:
Battery life indicator
Neck pick up boost ( precision to on steroids)
Bridge pickup serial/parallel/ single coil
Piezo switch ( changes between the piezo in the bridge saddles or the mag bridge pick up.

Volume/ blend stack knob
Sweepable low pass filter and volume for neck pickup
Sweepable low pass filter and volume for bridge pickup
Sweep high pass filter and volume for overall.
The 18v pre amp in this is amazingly versatile and really does offer an incredible array of tones and is a huge credit to Alan/ John East.
