I want this soooooo much, have to sell stacks to raise funds at the moment though.

Dudi's a top guy by the way, I've done a deal with him before with no hassle at all, buy with confidence. :)

For anybody that hasn't had the pleasure, these are lovely to play - super-slick pencil thin neck, very fast and a lot of fun. The core tone is typical Alembic - fabulous depth and complexity with a high level of flexibility from the filters. Only down-side for meis strap placement. Alembic SCDs appear only rarely - good chance for somebody, nice choice of cases too (if you use leather)

Hi dudi,

I think I've seen the main picture elsewhere, in the Alembic porn thread maybe? I can't remember.

Could you post a photo of the back and a close up of the body front? Mark me as interested.

Any further details on spec/history?

Regards,

Warren.

i will upload more photos later today
the bass used to belong to karl clews from ireland, its in great condition, only a scratch in lower horn and the once the strap lock was moved from the back to the front and it was returned to the original place and it was filled and coloured, really unnoticeable, the bass is in amazing condition
it has the signature electronics, and i will supply new strings with it...
also if one will be interested i have an amazing Moody Leather strap to go with it
these are karl's videos with the bass: (top bass player!)

Can well endorse Loz's comments as he parted with one of these my way. If only my lotto numbers had come up this would have been the cream to my coffee SCD.

I don't suppose you happen to know what it weighs do you David?
[/quote]

it feels like 4.5 kg :)
but due to the small body and the short scale it feels lightweight for me

Lovely bass, I hope you find a new buyer soon. In the meantime how much do you want for the short scale harvest case?

Ok that sounds fair. Well if the buyer of the bass does not need the case, drop me an email I'm definitely interested in the case.
