I'm Antonio from Azores and I've been playing bass since I was 14... started out playing sax (tenor, alto, soprano) at young age and then... wham! fell in love with bass guitar! I play in two bands for quite some years; we cover lots of bands in hard rock style, but I also love to play some blues and jazz stuff. Have been rockin' two Yamaha Attitude: a Limited 1 and a Standard; I also have an Ibanez Silverstar unlined fretless from the 70s, just for those bluesy moments. Nowadays I play through an Ampeg SVT7 and a SVT810 cab (90s american version), but played many years through an SVP Pro / SVP 1500, untill a dumb@ss burned out my SVP 1500!!! Obviously I don't use this setup for rehearsal - for that purpose I use my faithfull 90s Carlsbro B1-200. And that's all, folks! Hoping to have a good time around this forum.
