matski Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Dear fellow BCers, I'm looking for advice on how much a jet black Hamer Chaparral 12 string would be worth on the second hand market. A friend of mine has one he needs to sell, but has no idea of how much to advertise it for. I said I would help him out, but can't find much info about these basses on the internet now that Hamer is defunct. Any ballpark figures much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Not sure I can help you price that one as I've tended to look at the top end ones, though there are a couple of 12 string players/owners on here who can likely help. Looks like it might say XT on the headstock so it's one of the newer imports. Probably looking at £300 - £400 max depending on condition IMO.
