Hobbayne Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 The Beatles Let It Be single version was mixed by George Martin while the album version was done by Phil spector. Spectors version featured a different guitar solo by George Harrison, a brass section and was nearly a minute longer, although they both derive from the same 8 track tape, spector mixed them higher and edited a repeat chorus to extend the running time.
