Vote added, top track, love Mr Venom and his band of merry reprobates, I liked a lot of the more old school garagey psychobilly mixes, but in the end I was seduced by the sheer power of mix 6, excellent effort!

Great track, and some impressive mixes. It just came down to personal taste in the end for me.

I've listened to all of all of them (a couple, a couple of times through...), and have become painfully aware of a truly enormous error, or oversight, in my own version..! I wonder who will be able to spot the 'deliberate mistake'..? I'll have to have a bit of a think and come back for another session before voting for my favourite from my short list. What a dummy, though..! How on earth did [i]that[/i] happen..? All to be revealed after closure, of course.

Unless you mixed the wrong song in somewhere , I cant hear it

I find them all a bit bottom heavy to be honest , the vocal just doesnt seem to cut through on a few of them , I have made some iffy notes but they seem to repeat a bit .

I will vote soon enough, but I still quite like mine

me too, which is why i listened to them all first with headphones, and then cranked up through my studio monitors.

Kudos to all who did the mixes. I may have studio monitors, but it's all i can do to switch them on.

yes , good call , I did think of asking for mix requirements , but soon realised that I probably havent yet learnt the skills to implement them , but I did listen to a few tracks to try to get a feel for the band , but probablly still was well wide of the mark

Ah, mix 1 makes much more sense with drums all the way to the end! I love the orchestral breakdown; go timpani! But mix 6 still edges it for me; looking forward to hearing their approach to the vocals. Top notch quality all round again this month though chaps.

I voted mix 3, I felt that the vocals had good clarity on this mix, and that the bottom end was nice and tight. Sounded less modern than the other mixes in a good way IMHO.

Just to let you all know that I've listened to all the mixes and voted for my favourite one at some point during the last week.

There's a lot of interesting interpretations, and I'll give you all my full views once the results have been announced.
