Simon and Garfunkel, Concert in Central Park from September 1981.

I love this. They are both at the top of their game and it manages to be relaxing and upbeat at the same time.

Some Sunday funk... This was one of Sly Stone's 'Sly's Stone Flower' projects from '69/'70

I'm Just Like You by 6ix (unsurprisingly it has a fabulous bass line - a Jazz played with a pick??)

There's a really good article about the Stone Flower project here.. https://medium.com/cuepoint/sly-stone-the-original-rhythm-king-da29241897b5

Beatles - Sergeant Pepper, which I haven't listened to properly for, ahem, 40 of years. Oldest daughter thinks Keef is right. But that's a whole other thread;)
Sly and the Family Stone - Stand. Wonderful!

Today I are mostly working my way through the Queensryche back catalogue, and realizing that I had forgotten just how very very very good they were.

Oh good lord, Eddie Jackson's bass tones are sublime. His sound on 'Disconnected' (from Promised Land) is just HUUUGE. It sounds like god clearing his throat.
