Am I the only one who is finding the new digitech Bass Whammy fairly noisy with distortions or just in my chain? I get a weird high(ish) constant ringing whether the whammy is on or off. It won't take 9v supplies from my Fuel Tank or my new MXR brick so I'm using the supplied plug. I'm assuming it's the power supply that's making it a bit noisy or maybe I've got a lemon and not realised? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zombiespacebat Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 I think you have a fault with your pedal, mine is pretty much silent (though there is a slightly more noticeable amount of noise when I have my OD pedals on). I don't see why it wouldn't take power from a brick since mine is perfectly happy working off my GigRig Generator.
