Hi, I have a UK made 7215 which was working fine at a gig on Thursday evening but at Friday's gig had gone extremely quiet and I ran straight through the PA to do the gig. I have tried obvious checks like changing leads, instruments etc but it's not that. I am not technical at all - any thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I went back to the amp and before starting to unscrew things I thought I would try it again and lo and behold loads of volume! How bizarre. I'm worried now though that I have an intermittent fault which will raise it's head again. Maybe a good excuse for GAS!

It's clearly not fubar then, good news! It will probably be a dry joint somewhere or a slightly iffy socket. Any decent tech would be able to go over it and make it good as new.

Absolutely.

Those old TE amps used 'off the shelf' components that any tech will be able to get hold of as well.
