stoo Posted August 16, 2014 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Unless you're expecting to play very big venues with no PA, the MB500 ought to be plenty powerful enough. I've got the slightly older (but almost identical) MB2-500 and some BMF Omni 10 cabs (1x10" and 2x10") and it will easily go louder than I'm prepared share a room with! I had the MB500 and with a 4ohm 410 anything more than 4 on volume would have decimated the rest of the band - and a punk band, so not quiet songs. The only thing is if you`re really concerned about not getting full power due to the OBC being an 8ohm cab, though the difference that makes in audible terms isn`t really that much, but if you want max power then the MB800 will do more into a single 8ohm cab.
