My name is Lizzie and Im a bassist bas(s)ed in west London who is seeking a band for joyful music making and pun creation! Previous experience includes international tours, function bands, hard rock and power-stances. Im at home in sweaty rehearsal rooms and on a bus. Looking for some hard rockin' like-minded new friends to slam out some awesome rock n roll and save me from endless 12-bar blues licks. I have some good industry links and, most importantly, own gear and transport! Its been a while, but I can probably do some backing vocals as well but Im a little rusty!

My bass player and I have been in a band called Manflu for 7 years. Our farewell gig is this coming Saturday, 20/09 at The Lexington in Angel, London. We're forming a new band that will be as unique as Manflu and we want a female bass player. He will be playing other instruments and a bit of bass for two bass songs. We won't be like Manflu but as different. We will also be using two drummers, me and a female drummer, (haven't found the right one yet, and another dude, multi-instrumentalist. We like what you say in your ad. We share a good studio in Manor House in North London, N4. If you want to come to the gig to get an idea of our capability, let me know and I'll get you in. A power pop/ punky rock and roll band are currently looking for a committed bass player to complete their line up.
Looking for a member age 27 or under with good stage presence and image.
Backing Vocals a plus but not necessary.
They are managed by Strange World Management and are booked by X-Ray Touring.
The band is 1 year old and in the first year have played
Vans Warped Tour, The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, Dot to Dot , Live at Leeds,
Sonisphere , Reading and Leeds Festivals. They have also played the Forum and Shepherd's Bush Empire
as opening acts for Stiff Little Fingers, Alkaline Trio, Me first and the Gimme Gimme's as well as opening for
The Wildhearts in Edinburgh Scotland.
They have recently recorded tracks to be released with producers Ian Broudie (Lightning Seeds) , Ginger Wildheart (Wildhearts)
Jason Perry ( Busted, Mcfly) and Steven Bradley (No Doubt). They have interest from Record Labels
but are currently securing a new line up of committed members who would like to be a full time member of the group
and make the band their main commitment, before the next step.
