The answer was (you'll all be kicking yourself now) "Ótta" by Sólstafir. Here's an easier one, more bass-centric this time.

1. *title track*
2. Back in the Beginning
3. Beard in the Letterbox
4. The Drowning Dream
5. The Sad Velvet Breath of Summer and Winter
6. Saday, Maday
7. Liver and Lungs
8. Bones of Mud

Did Slade make any jazz albums?
They "dabbled" :o as a nod (geddit?) to Stefan Grappelli........

...... and Nod named his son Django.

Should that be "not an Eth-ing chance"?

(oh come on, everybody loves an Icelandic alphabet-related pun, don't they???? No? OK, - Dad, hold the door, I'm right behind you)

What's the etiquette here????? Does the person who guesses or recognises the previous list get to pick the next one or do people simply wade in with obscure choices on the hope that no one else knows their choice.
Apparently the former after my hideous faux pas

Apart from that Solo album by the Scandinavian Swedish Chef mentioned earlier,
there will always be 'someone' who knows the album offered up.
Some might take weeks, but we will get there in the end.
Part of the fun.....innit bruv.

Be it known for clarity's sake that in my case, my only aim was to bring a little smile upon someone's face, and it was certainly not to try and set rules, change rules or remind people of the rules.
I'd expect that normally, the OP sets the rules, and then the body of BC might adhere to them or not, and the direction the thread takes is an unknown before it happens.

I've seen in earlier threads of this ilk that when an album appears to take too much time, it is exchanged with one that the poster thinks is easier. No sweat.

OK then:

1. Convenience
2. All Through the Night
3. Shadows on the Street
4. Number One
5. Underground
6. I Am a Camera
7. Inside Out
8. It's Not Imagination

Buggles- Adventures in Modern Recording?

A guess based purely on the knowledge that they re-recorded Yes' "I Am A Camera". I'll be surprised if I'm right!

May I just mention that, in topics such as this, it's very useful to 'quote' the post being replied to. This reduces some of the confusion (eg: "What are you replying to, the post above or the one from the previous page..?" etc...).
Just sayin'; as you were.
