[/quote] They were very close but I used a bit of 240 grit paper around my finger to ream out the holes a bit. It only took about two minutes a hole of gentle sanding. Two of the screw holes match, the other two are close but not quite so I drilled a tiny pilot hole and screwed the other two in. Tried it through a Promethean combo and it sounds really well. Very jazz like. High gloss finish. Not light but not too heavy either. Quite impressed really. As well made if not better than a lot of Mex. The necks not as thin as a Fender jazz profile, its a bit of a cross between a J and a P. Yeah, I think I would gig with one if my JV wasn't available... Pickups now changed to Duncan STacked Jazz bridge and SPB-1 neck. And my graphite Status neck just looks sooooo good on it.
