Zoom B3 Power Supply Compatibility

The B3 takes a 9V centre-negative supply like any Boss pedal. However the spec mentions 500mA curren, and the PSA240 only gives you 200mA. It may work, and you wouldn't harm the B3 by trying, but you might find it goes dim or drops out.

The manual specifies the AD-16 - which aren't terrifyingly expensive - http://www.thomann.de/gb/zoom_ad_16f_uk.htm

I was a cheapskate and bought one of these as a spare - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00F5VTPH8/ref=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1 and it seems to work OK

Before you run out and buy a daisy chain...

I found running a Zoom multi on a daisy chain to add lots of noise to the signal, same with EHX digital pedals, so I always end up running them off of a separate power supply.

Good post - please ignore my suggestion. (I stand corrected. Thanks Danny)
