Actually a belated NBD as I've had this a few weeks now.
Hadn't really given this model much thought, until I had the opportunity to have a go on this one wich was up for sale locally via BC. Have recently had a go on an American Special which I believe replaced the H1, but that didn't really float my boat, where as this did.

With the Badass bridge, satin nitrocellulose lacquer body finish & graphite supported neck it's a well thought out spec for the price point with a nice vintage vibe. I've added a more interesting neck plate for aesthetics & some Fender strap locks.

Was bought as a back up, but actually it might have relegated my Geddy Lee to that position!!

Lovely basses, congrats to the OP.
Ive had two, one from each generation, and both have been the best Jazz basses ive every owned. If im honest i think the first gen i had (with upgraded BAII) had a bit more growl, and the second was a bit thicker sounding.
Both put my Lakland DJ5 to shame as far as i was concerned.
I wish they made a 5 string version.
