Not sure of the exact vintage but it's previous owner was pretty sure it was mid '90s. One or two parts have been replaced: The pups are Fender Custom Shop '60s. (Original pups are in the case); The tortoiseshell scratchplate is non-standard I think; The neck plate seems to be an American replacement. Condition overall is very good. (In keeping with it's age there are one or two minor marks, but nothing of any real note.) Action is superb - well up to Fender Japan's usual standards. Sounds fabulous in the usual Jazz Bass tradition. I'm terrible at describing sounds: suffice it to say it sounds exactly like you'd expect it to! It comes with the excellent HSC you see in the pictures. All things being equal I wouldn't be selling it, but I'm raising funds for a new project so it has to go. At this price I think it represent a bit of a bargain, so at this point it's fairly firm. (PM me if you think it's too much though and we'll talk.) Sale only, no trades. Collection/personal delivery for petrol money are the only options - I don't have the time or inclination to put it in the post - sorry! (Having said that I can deliver to a fairly wide radius around Birmingham.) Feel free to ask questions.
