Experienced bassist +35 available for Groove Metal, Alternative, Sludge and Heavy rock. Touring and recording experience, song writer and back vocals (Aggressive screaming). Transport and Pro Gear. AMPEG SVT, Music Man basses.
My sound is massive and I am a fan of distortion.
Bass style between Geezer Butler, Cliff Burton somewhere, mixing both stoner and thrash groove. Confident and intense stage presence, great image.

Based in Kent, so prefer this region but will consider most locations for the right band/sound/ability.

Sabbath, Metallica. Mastadon, Soil, Alice in Chains, AC/DC, Old Ozzy, Tool, Soundgarden, Old Megadeth, Pantera, Lamb of God- list goes on. I also have a range of other musical interests

Please no time wasters
Thanks for getting in touch, and thanks to Bass Chat for the great portal.
Visit me further if of interest at www.myspace.com/jamoid70

Peace and respect to all

Hi there,

We are a South London based heavy rock band looking for a comitted bass player. We meet and practice 2, sometimes 3 times per week and are expecting to be very busy this year due to now working with a record label. We tend refrain from long lengthy practice sessions, and we prefer short and more frequent effective jam sessions to acheive what we need. We all work in 9-5 jobs at present.
Here is a link to our latest recordings www.soundcloud.com/eastroad have a listen and let us know what you think.

If you like the songs and you are interested, I'm happy to discuss further via the email below.

Nine Miles Down require a pro minded bassist preferably with BV's - good gear, transportation and a good sense of humour. Ability to work in a touring band and rehearse/ record in the South Wales area.
