[/quote] I run a VT bass deluxe into a GB Shuttle 6.0 into a S12T. I connect the VT to the input of the Shuttle, as I prefer the tone when it's been run through the valve pre, and you have the additional EQ options available to you (the variable mids can be handy). beely Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 I've used an EBS Reidmar and an SVT4 Pro through my S12. The Ampeg slightly shades it for tonal variety but the EBS skates it for portability. Can't fault either amp for quickly and easily getting the sound I want. Incidentally, as an experiment once, I used the S12 as an extension cabinet for my Peavey Basic 12 practice combo. Pleasantly surprised at how good that sounded.
