I am the lucky owner of three Fullerton RIs (one of each model manufactured), and they are the closest replicas of Pre-CBS basses that Fender has ever produced IMHO. In the 50's they hand signed a piece of marking tape, and stuck it in the bottom of the control cavity. It is 4Kg on my bathroom scales. I have also taken 2 pictures today of the underside of the scratch plate to give you a good idea of where the name stamp is located.
