Hi All,

I have decided to move on my much loved Yamaha TRB 1005 due to never playing 5 string any more and needing to free up some funds. I brought this bass from new in 2006, but I believe the serial number shows it was manufactured in 2004 in Korea.

The manufacturers info is as follows:

Construction: Bolt-on
Scale Length: 35" (889mm)
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Radius: 19 11/16" (500mm)
Frets:24
Body: Maple/Alder
Neck: 3 Piece Maple
Bridge: Solid Brass
Pickups: Alnico V Hum-Canceled x 2
Controls: Master Volume, Pickup Balancer, 3-BandEQ

The playability of these basses is fantastic, a quick search on the forums will confirm this and the fact is has one of the best B strings for the price range! The active electronics are excellent and have trim pots in the control cavity to adjust the level of the second coil in each pickup. The EQ is very powerful and I found that a little goes a long way!

The string spacing at the bridge is about 18mm and is currently strung with DR Hi-Beams.

This bass has been played a lot, therefore there is evidence of this, which I have tried to capture in the photos. There are some scuffs on the headstock, small local scratches on the back of the neck and some small scratches in the body finish here and there, all superficial and not affecting the playability or tone. Please let me know if you want more detailed pictures of these areas.

The bass comes with Warwick strap locks and a Gator hardcase which is in great condition.

I am looking for £400 for this bass with hardcase, collection from Leeds or shipping at the buyers expense.

If you have any more questions please let me know :)

Cheers, Nick
