So does anyone have one they can share any experience of? :)

Any real life experienced users here?
Interested to hear what impressions users have. Tonally and practically.
How hardwearing is the composite neck and fretwork?

Welcome :)

Specifically looking at the Soul model.
As its a hollow body ( actually the whole thing is hollow !) wondering how it sounds?

There's loads of samples on the site but mostly all virtuoso types, looking for more traditional playing in a band kinda situation.

Bit too traditional looking for me.

Yeah, they need to be thinking outside the box a little more.

I agree, definitely a lack of new ideas and they could do with a few more unique, modern designs if you ask me.

Nah, they've been producing those designs for 10 years or more.

I'm interested in these

Try bassandtuba.

He had a white 5 string soul with Delano's I think. We were in discussion about a deal on it a while ago but in the end I opted for an old school jazz bass made out of wood!

Based on the feedback these are high quality basses and very light. No real downsides other than the love/hate asthetic (although the Soul model is much more conventional). I still like the look of that white soul bass...

Jerry Auerswald is another one to check out if you like this sort of thing. He's a true innovator - he built the original Prince 'Symbol' guitar.

Now these would really stand out down the local open mic night.... Not my cup of tea though
