I have a candy apple red Fender Jazz American Special with maple fretboard that I'm looking to sell. Great bass, I chose this over some more expensive USA standards as I preferred the feel and playability. I don't really want to let it go, but I need to raise money quickly as I'm moving house. When I'm settled I'll be looking to replace it with the same bass! I am based in Manchester, and local pick up is preferred. I am *now* looking for *£475* (I paid £820 in 2012 - receipt available).

I had one of these in the same colour. Great bass and must be one of the best jazz necks around.

With regard to the weight, I've struggled to weigh this on a suitable scale but according to the following source, it should around 8.8 lbs or 4kg:
